TableDesk ("we", "our", or "us"), powered by Decent Online, is dedicated to protecting the privacy of restaurants, cloud kitchens, hotels, hospitality staff, and end consumers who interact with our software suite. This Privacy Policy describes how personal and business data is handled when you access our cloud POS, kitchen display system (KDS), hotel property management system (PMS), digital QR menus, or customer portals.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the essential information needed to provide high-speed, secure, and multi-tenant hospitality management:
- Tenant Account Information: Business name, owner name, business registration, tax identifiers (GST/VAT), billing email, verified phone numbers, and encrypted credentials.
- Operational Data: Menu items, floor layouts, order bills, inventory logs, hotel room bookings, check-in timestamps, and shift cash register records.
- Customer Transaction Data: Names and mobile numbers voluntarily provided for WhatsApp digital invoice delivery, loyalty points, or reservation confirmations.
- Technical & Audit Logs: Access timestamps, IP addresses, POS device types, browser fingerprints, and cashier activity logs for anti-theft and fraud prevention.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is processed strictly for legitimate operational purposes:
- To route table orders, print Kitchen Order Tickets (KOT), and settle multi-tender bill payments.
- To dispatch automated digital GST receipts and room reservation alerts via official WhatsApp and SMS gateways.
- To compute real-time sales reports, inventory consumption forecasts, and audit trails.
- To enforce tenant data isolation so no restaurant can ever view another business's financials or menus.
4. Data Security & Tenant Isolation
TableDesk enforces strict database multi-tenancy where all SQL queries are strictly scoped by tenant_id and branch_id. All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3 encryption, and all critical credentials are cryptographic hashes (Bcrypt / Argon2).
5. Third-Party Sharing
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade merchant or customer data to marketing brokers or advertising networks. Data is shared exclusively with certified infrastructure providers (e.g. payment gateways like Razorpay/Stripe, WhatsApp Cloud API, and transactional SMTP relays) solely to execute merchant-directed services.
